Own a Business? £450 of Easy Cashback

If you own a business, there are means of making money just by virtue of the business existing. Consider the following cashback options that, for me, netted me £450, and will continue to net me approximately £150 in future years. Practical Note: Most of these options require an understanding of Cashback [What is Cashback?] and a Quidco or TopCashBack login. If you don't have a Quidco or TopCashBack and you fancy doing me a solid use these links to sign up and I get some dollar for sending you their way :

On to business...

American Express (£100 Cashback)

What is American Express? I am not going to insult us both by telling you what Amex do but it looks odd not including this subheading in one place only.

Tips Based On Experience: The application process was pretty painless, despite my business being less than a year old and having no credit history I was accepted, and they paid up. They did however start calling up so that my account manager could introduce himself however if you politely request they do so via email they go away.

Soldo (£100 Cashback)

What is Soldo? Frankly it does not matter for our purposes however it is some expense tracking solution.

Tips Based On Experience: Pick the free option (obviously!), painless once again, I did add £5 to my account to stimulate the cashback.

Tide (£100 Cashback)

What is Tide? A business bank.

Tips Based On Experience: There are some sweet sign up offers with Tide and they change regularly so it is worth a 5 minute Google. At time of writing there is £100 using code TCB100 and depositing £50 but there have been £75 Uber Eats Voucher plus £80 TopCashBack.

Byond (variable - circa £150 per year)

What is Byond? This takes some explanation, it is actually useful and not (as I had assumed) a TopCashBack / Quidco rip-off. This is a pre-paid debit card that provides cashback when used with certain (useful) retailers, the stand out ones being Supermarkets at time of writing Asda 3%, Sainsbury's 3%, Waitrose 3% for example.

My MoneyDashboard Spend Report tells me that I spent about £4500 in the last 12 months on Asda and Sainsburys, with the price inflation going on can reasonably expect this to go up by 10%-20%. If were to spend approximately £5000 in the next 12 months in these two places would be saving £150 this year and every year with the 3% discount get with Byond.

Tips Based On Experience: In the capacity of signing up my business things went smoothly however to sign up my employee (myself!) was annoying as the uploading of my ID did not seem to be effective although I was not notified so, after emailing tech support their manual intervention sorted the issue.
